This is the story of 33-year-old Mr. James Crossin,
who lives in Bournemouth, England, and underwent Biceps Tenodesis Surgery at
ADATIP Hospital.
Before the Surgery
I used to do a lot of weight training and later
switched to boxing. During the lead-up to a fight, in a sparring session, I
injured my bicep. My right arm started to feel weak near the elbow, but I
decided against surgery at the time.
Now, I’m hopeful that the surgery will go well and
that everything will turn out fine. I’m looking forward to waking up in a few
days with a better-functioning bicep, and I’m sure you’ll see great results
soon.

After the Surgery
Three
days after the surgery, I woke up feeling surprisingly good, to be honest. I
felt much better than I thought I would, whether that was thanks to the pain
medication or not. The physiotherapy sessions started again, and I must say the
physiotherapists were incredibly attentive, constantly checking on me—just like
the nurses. The physio checked my arm, and I was pleasantly surprised to see an
improvement in my range of motion.
I was
able to move my arm closer to my shoulder, which was amazing because I didn’t
expect to have so much range of motion so soon. I thought my arm would still be
in a cast and quite immobile. On this day, I was discharged to the hotel, which
was a nice change. I could relax more, get out a bit, and de-stress.
My time
at the hospital was fantastic. I would recommend ADATIP Hospital to everyone.
The hospital is extremely clean, the staff are excellent, and the surgeons are
outstanding. They are very transparent and clear about the surgical
procedures—how they will perform them and what to expect. They make the entire
experience welcoming and reassuring.
As I’ve
mentioned, I would absolutely come back here for any future surgeries.
Hopefully, I won’t need to, but if I do, this is the place I would choose. I
would highly recommend it to anyone considering treatment.
Finally, I’d like to extend a big thank you to Dr.
Ozgur and a massive thank you to ADATIP Hospital.
Thank you, ADATIP!
